General patterns in the variation in pgerm in CS9Data1a can be revealed by Stats → Summary Statistics → Summaries of Groups (Tabulation)...to produce the descriptive statistics shown below for sucrose concentration. Note that five observations are missing. The means and medians for pgerm are close together for each concentration, except the zero sucrose concentration, indicating generally symmetric distributions. There were, however, large variations in values, with individual field of view germination values generally covering the whole range from 0 to 100% for sucrose concentrations of 10 and above.
